MIGHTY ELAM MUX is a MUX, a text-based fantasy roleplay game, though not of the traditional sort, with elves and wizards and dime-a-dozen magic swords. Instead, it's a bit more like older narratives, like Conan the Barbarian or Lord of the Rings, where the heroes have skills and talents like anyone in Real Life might have - it's their skill and determination that win the day, not some deus ex machina they can call down. Bad guys sometimes use magical powers or other cheats, but that's just what they are: cheats.
